Alright so I went to 34th and saw The Incredible Hulk, Love Guru and Wanted. Lemme start off by saying that I sooo did not know that movie tickets were on special if one went in the morning! $6 as opposed to the regular fee of $11. That’s a pretty good deal! I will definitely do that again. So on to the reviews I guess (I’m not much of a reviewer so don’t expect much lol).
~The Incredible Hulk
Features a cast that really brought the movie to life although I questioned “Betty” and her low tone of voice. I had to basically pay extra attention whenever she spoke and its like she never showed much emotion until the cab scene, but maybe this is just the way the character was supposed to be played out, I didn’t see the first movie and haven’t read much of the comics so I don’t know. The graphics overall were damn amazing, some scenes (which I won’t mention as to not spoil it) you could swear that the Hulk wasn’t even computer generated while others you could tell but it still looked amazing. Normally I hate it how movies always try to include a love scene but in this one it pretty much fit right in like the canons on the war tanks. (^_^) Overall I would most certainly recommend others to see it AT THE MOVIES! The sound experience is just sooo much better unless you got the hook up with Bose already.
~The Love Guru
I did not see much of this movie as well we were pretty tired and Wanted began before this one ended. I’ve got to say I wasn’t too excited about it from the commercials since it all seemed so, not funny? But once I saw it, it was pretty good especially the jokes that were made. Some of which took me a while to understand and there’s still one that me and my comrades STILL don’t get, but that’s ok because it sounded funny enough for us to laugh anyway (lack of sleep makes us do that, A LOT haha). For this one I’ll have to watch it on pay-per-view or cable again since I missed part of it but looking foward to it! Since I didn’t see the whole thing I cannot accurately say that I would recommend it but from what I say, I say it’s a good laugh if you’re looking for one.
~WANTED!!!
Well obviously from the way i wrote the title you know what’s coming…
AWESOME!! AMAZING!! Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie are badass in this movie, or at least Morgan is the Rep. for the badasses, but still got some awesome moves of his own as he will give a preview of in a scene. All the cast works in such synchrony that it makes you feel like it may just be based on a true story. Everything from the script to the bullets themselves was just flawless in my opinion. i would say so much more about the movie but I fear if I continue I will spoil some parts for others, so go see it! And don’t wait for it on cable, pay up it’s worth it! Shoot I’ll probably go see it again I’m sure.
Now on to other movies, you know those in the previews. So here are the movies of the summer and one for the fall.
~Swing Vote
A movie about a father who’s daughter sings him up to vote but he’s not into politics at all. And so it just so happens that when the father goes to vote there was an error so he gets the chance to vote again which becomes a HUGE story around the nation because amazingly all the votes so far have left the Presidential runners in a tie so this one man’s vote will determine the winner! Now he must make a choice that has the nation quite literally breathing down his neck. Here’s what he said when a reporter asked who he’d vote for,
“Remind me who’s running again? *laughter*”
Yup good movie to make everyone wonder if it’ll happen in this year’s election. Oh did I mention Geroge Lopez and Nathan Lane are in there? Well yes dear those two are in the mix!
Swing Vote
~Righteous Kill
A movie about two cops (Al Pacino and Robert De Niro) who must figure out who’s killing a whole bunch of bad guys. What else is there you say? Well that’s pretty much all I got from the trailer, but trust me, these two bombshells of actors, I’ll be watching that movie for sure. Besides, who doesn’t like a little criminal investigation these days? This gem will be out sometime September.

~ The Dark Knight
Helloooo BATMAN! ‘Nuff said., because unless you’ve been living under a closet beneath a staircase, you should know all about this movie. And about the next one!

~Hellboy 2: The Golden Army
Hellboy was pretty good, but I mean the evil guy in part two is not only cool but COOL! I’d totally cosplay him, although not having a shirt may make things difficult but I’ll find a way around that. So pretty much badass evil versus hella badass good plus some stiff romance up in there and quite a lot of butt kicking, not to mention maybe some broken ribs and possibly pirates trying to you know, film a movie which will totally suck due to
A. Poor Quality
B. Viewers being told when to laugh, kinda like comedy shows
C. Random people walking by
and possibly
D. Security beating bootlegger with a flashlight and popcorn being shoved into the camera lens
Not too sure about the last one but hey, THAT kind of scene I wouldn’t really complain about.

~The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Jet Li will be starting as (a-duh) the Dragon Emperor, First Emperor Qin who has arisen, a thousand years after being curse by a wizard. He has the power of all the 4 elements. Brendan Foster and Luke Ford play Rick and Alex who go after the Emperor after awakening him and try to bring him down. This movie will be out in theaters August 1st.

~Eagle Eye
The movie that I really want to see right after Black Knight. This story entails of two people who receive phone calls at different points in times and are told to do things. These roles are played by Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan (Jerry and Rachel). At one point Jerry is told to duck down, soon affter about a few seconds a train flies in through the window and almost kills him. It pretty much felt like Big Brother (tv show, not the show itself more like the concept) meets Battle Royale (movie). So if you’re into action and mystery I’d hit this one up. Broke you say? Well you’ve got enough time to get a job and head out to see it! This comes out September 26th!

~Hancock
What can I say? Will Smith is the man and I’m pumped to see how he’s doing after “I Am Legend” (^_^). Which is most likely damn good if his billboards are all over the place almost like those “Snorg” t-shirt ads are ALL OVER the internet. You thought the rickroll was taking over? Nope, it’s Snorg babe, Snorg. Oh and I finally got rickrolled dammit. Thanks a lot Oogie Boogie <~ That was sarcasm.
Oh! For those into comics there will be a movie coming out called “The Spirit” don’t know much about it, but here’s a link: The Spirit
